  • Develop and commercialize competitive medical nutrition products to gain and maintain share in the marketplace.
  • Project planning, coordination and implementation. Create and influence project direction by providing technical input through planning and decision making and effective communication with senior cross-functional group management. Manage multiple projects with high degree of complexity and breadth potentially requiring technical discovery.
  • Document, report and present project results to project team and/or to management
  • stablish close relationships to support the markets/businesses (Scientific & Technical Assistance) to improve performance, product quality and installing new lines
  • Coach less experienced associates on product development best practice.
  • Lead NCE by example, full accountability of owned NIMS Process. Establish, develop, implement and maintain the owned process (objectives, KPIs, related documents) taking into consideration both planned and unplanned changes.
  • Employee is responsible to follow and uphold all Food Safety, Food Quality, Occupational Safety, Health and Environment policies and procedures as pertains to role.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in food science, nutrition or closely related field with at least 15 years of relevant progressive experience
  • Master’s degree in food science , nutrition or closely related field with at least 12 years of relevant progressive experience
  • PhD degree in food science, nutrition or closely related field with at least 8 years of relevant progressive experience

Experience Requirements

  • Significant product development and/or research experience supporting medical nutrition products
  • Scientific/Technical/Product Knowledge
  • Knowledge of nutritional formulations, aseptic process development, emulsion technology, protein/mineral interactions, HCN institutional and retail business, business operating systems and software, sensory science
